Problems...
One of the problems that are happening in the Amazon Rainforest
is that animals are endangered.
The reason of this happening comes from many ways, such
as;
- Habitat Loss –
Humans are destroying the animal’s habitats by burning or cutting
down. Us humans as well do need to
survive by collecting food, but we are still destroying their homes, we are
making‘Habitat Loss’ the biggest threat in the Amazon
Rainforest.
- Pollution –
Animals that live near water (E.G. Lakes, Rivers and Oceans) are being harmed due to the
pollution that humans are putting out to the world, especially to the Amazon.
- Introduced Species –
Because humans think it would be better saving species of animals by placing
them into the Amazon, the native animals are now finding it very hard to live
there because they are being threatened by the new animal and is now causing
them to be extinct.
- Global Warming –
‘Global Warming’ is bad for the animals in the Amazon. The water is becoming
warmer especially in coral reefs which are causing them to die. Animals rely on
coral reefs for food and shelter. ‘Global Warming’ now harms the animals in the
Amazon Rainforest.
- Poaching –
Animals are endangered due to the poaching of people. They have no right to kill animals
because of their fur or horns to show off to other people. They are killing all
the precious animals.
Another problem is that 20% of the Amazon has been destroyed,
humans have half (worldwide) of our tropical rainforest to be logged and
burned. The land of earth was once 14% of tropical rainforests, but now it only 6%!!
The Amazon is predicted to last till 2030. In 2020 80 – 90% of
the WORLDS rainforests would be destroyed. That’s 8 years from
now..
